Placing Orders
By placing an order with Superior Wine, you acknowledge that you are at least 21 years of age. Your order will not be processed until quantities are confirmed and shipping/delivery arrangements are made. Please note that some states do not allow residents to receive wine shipments from out-of-state sources. Superior Wine makes no warranty to know about or to offer advice regarding the laws of any destination state other than the State of Illinois.
Payment
Payment in full is due prior to the release of all purchases. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, personal or business check, money order, or bank wire transfer may make payment. If payment is received in the form of a personal or business check, then clearance of the check must occur for purchases to be released. Taxes will be charged at the locally prevailing rate (currently 10%) for all purchases shipped, delivered, or collected within the State of Illinois. Taxes will be charged for shipments outside of the State of Illinois only if the destination state requires those taxes to be collected. Superior Wine makes no warranty to know about or to offer advice regarding the tax laws of any state other than the State of Illinois.
Shipping
Superior Wine ships via UPS. An adult at least 21 years of age is required to sign for your order upon delivery by UPS. Superior Wine CANNOT ship to the following states: AK, AL, AR, DE, KS, KY, MA, MD, ME, MS, MT, NH, OK, PA, RI, SD, TN, UT and VT. Superior Wine makes no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship into any state outside the State of Illinois. In placing an order with Superior Wine, you are acknowledging that you are in compliance with your local laws governing alcoholic beverages. All wine is sold in the State of Illinois, and the title passes to you in Illinois at time of pick up by a common carrier.

If weather conditions are too extreme, then Superior Wine will store your order at no charge until the weather is conducive for safe transit. Superior Wine WILL NOT be held responsible for heat damage, so please consider Next Day or 2nd Day if you need your order immediately. |

Superior Wine will not ship orders that travel over a weekend. |

Empty wooden cases can be shipped via Ground for $15 per case. |
Delivery/Collection
Orders can be delivered throughout the Chicago area for $7. Collections are possible by appointment.
Acceptance/Returns
You are required to inspect all wines immediately upon receipt. Please note any shortage or damage before signing the delivering carrier's receipt and notify Superior Wine immediately. Failure to meet these criteria will result in you forfeiting the right to pursue a claim. Returns will be processed on a "per occurrence" basis.
Quality and Description of Wines
Superior Wine obtains wines from only the most reputable sources and performs a thorough inspection of the wines prior to releasing them for shipment, delivery, or collection. In the event that Superior Wine receives wines in a condition other than what is published, then a price reduction or a full credit will be offered only for those bottles that fail to meet the published condition. Please note that wines 10 years of age or older are believed to be in acceptable condition if they have very high shoulder levels or better.
Force Majeure
Superior Wine shall not be liable for any failure to meet our stated obligations as a result of circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
